Terms of Service
Last updated: July 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of BowlSheet’s mobile apps and web dashboard (the “Service”) by teams, coaches, analysts, administrators, and the institutions they represent. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Accounts and eligibility
Accounts are created for coaches, assistants, analysts, and administrators. Athletes do not self-register — a coach or admin manages roster entries, and individual bowler login is enabled only with institutional or guardian consent. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for legitimate team scoring, analytics, and management. You will not attempt to access data belonging to organizations you are not authorized for, disrupt the Service, or use it to violate any law or any student-data-privacy obligation.
Institutional data and DPA
When a school, college, or program is the customer, the institution is the data controller and BowlSheet is a processor acting under its direction. The institution’s use is governed by a Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which addresses handling of student-athlete data. See our Privacy Policy for the data, access, and retention practices these Terms incorporate.
Billing
Paid plans are billed per team, by seat, through our payment provider (Stripe), and managed in the web dashboard. The mobile apps are free to score with and contain no in-app purchases. Team owners and admins are responsible for the team’s subscription, including seat count, renewal, and cancellation. See Pricing for how plans work.
Data ownership and export
Your team’s data belongs to your team or institution. You can export your data to CSV from the dashboard at any time while your plan is active. On account closure, data is retained and purged per the retention windows in our Privacy Policy.
Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for non-payment, subject to the data-retention and export terms above.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, BowlSheet is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to account holders, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
The governing law and jurisdiction for these Terms will be identified at counsel review prior to real-team onboarding.
