Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you and Edibu LLC (“BowlSheet,” “we,” “us”). They cover two products with different rules, so they are split into two clearly scoped sections:

1. BowlSheet® for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS — the app on the App Store today.
2. BowlSheet Community (beta) — the next-generation platform, in closed beta with invited pilot teams.

By using either product, you agree to the section that applies to it, plus the general terms at the end.

BowlSheet (the App Store app)

Purchase and license

BowlSheet is a paid app sold through Apple’s App Store. Your download and use are governed by these Terms and by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple handles the purchase; see Pricing for what the app costs and what is included.

The Analytics Export subscription

The optional Analytics Export subscription unlocks CSV export of your stats. It is an auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple account. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store subscription settings. Apple handles all billing and refunds under its own terms.

Your data

Your scores, stats, notes, and photos are stored on your device and belong to you. Because the app keeps no cloud copy, you are responsible for your own device backups. See the Privacy Policy for details on what stays on the device and what does not.

Acceptable use

Use the app for scoring and tracking bowling. Do not attempt to circumvent the App Store’s purchase or subscription mechanisms, and do not use the app to violate any law.

BowlSheet Community (beta)

Beta status

BowlSheet Community is pre-release software provided to invited testers as-is. Features may change or be removed, data may need to migrate between versions, and the beta may be paused or ended at any time. Where a score matters — a sanctioned match, a qualifying series — keep your own record alongside the beta.

Accounts and eligibility

Beta accounts are created for coaches, assistants, analysts, and administrators, using passwordless (magic-link) email sign-in. Athletes do not self-register — a coach or admin manages roster entries, and individual bowler login is enabled only with institutional or guardian consent. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.

Acceptable use

Use the beta only for legitimate scoring, analytics, and team management. Do not attempt to access data belonging to organizations you are not authorized for, disrupt the service, or use it to violate any law or any student-data-privacy obligation.

Institutional data and DPA

When a school, college, or program is the customer, the institution is the data controller and BowlSheet is a processor acting under its direction. The institution’s use is governed by a Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which addresses handling of student-athlete data. See the Privacy Policy for the data, access, and retention practices these Terms incorporate.

Billing

The beta is free for invited pilot teams. If and when paid plans are offered, billing will be handled through our payment provider (Stripe), and the applicable pricing and renewal terms will be presented before any charge applies to you.

Data ownership and export

Your team’s data belongs to your team or institution. On account closure, an export window applies before deletion, per the retention windows in the Privacy Policy.

Termination

You may stop using the beta at any time. We may suspend or terminate beta access for violations of these Terms, or end the beta program, subject to the export and retention terms above.

General terms

Disclaimers and liability

Both products are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, BowlSheet is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from their use. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here reduces any rights you have under Apple’s EULA or your local consumer law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the products evolve. Material changes will be noted here with a new “Last updated” date, and beta account holders will be notified directly. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The specific venue for disputes may be further detailed at counsel review prior to general availability of BowlSheet Community.
