Pricing
BowlSheet is priced for teams, not individuals. The mobile apps are free to score with, and your coaching staff’s analytics and management features are billed per team through a single plan. The coach or program is the buyer — bowlers never pay.
How pricing works
- Mobile scoring is free. Score Baker and individual games offline on iPhone, Android, and Mac at no cost. There are no in-app purchases.
- Plans are per team, seat-based. A team plan covers your coaching staff — head coach, assistants, and analysts — under one subscription. You add or remove seats as your staff changes.
- Billing runs through Stripe in the web dashboard. A team owner or admin manages the plan, seats, and payment from the dashboard. Billing is at the organization level, never through the App Store or Google Play.
Plans
BowlSheet offers per-team plans sized to how a program competes:
| Plan | Built for |
|---|---|
| Basic | Entry-level per-seat plan — a coaching staff getting started with team analytics. |
| Pro | Full-featured per-seat plan — programs that need the complete analytics and admin toolset. |
Each plan unlocks the web dashboard for coaches: team and bowler analytics, CSV export, CSV import review, and organization admin.
Pricing finalizes with the billing rollout. Exact seat prices and plan limits are being finalized as part of BowlSheet’s Stripe billing rollout (E35). This page describes the per-team-seat model and plan tiers; specific dollar figures will be published when billing goes live.
Billing FAQ
How is billing handled? Billing is per team, through Stripe, managed in the web dashboard. A team owner or admin sets up the plan and seats. There is no in-app purchase on mobile — the apps are free to score with.
Who pays — the coach or the bowlers? The coach, team, or athletic program pays. Bowlers are added to a roster by a coach or admin and never purchase anything themselves.
Is there a free trial? The mobile apps are always free to score with, so you can run real games before paying for anything. A trial period for the coaching dashboard is being finalized as part of the Stripe billing rollout (E35) — when billing goes live, new teams will be able to evaluate the dashboard before being charged. Trial length and terms will be published with the rest of the pricing details.
Can I manage or cancel my plan myself? Yes. Team owners and admins manage their subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal, launched from the dashboard — update payment details, change seat count, or cancel without contacting us.
Can I add or remove seats — upgrade or downgrade — later? Yes. Seats and plans aren’t locked in. Add seats as your coaching staff grows or remove them when it shrinks, any time, from the Stripe Customer Portal in the dashboard. Billing adjusts to your seat count on your regular cycle; exact proration details will be confirmed with the billing rollout.
Can I cancel anytime? Yes. Cancel before your renewal date and you won’t be charged for the next period. Your team’s data remains accessible through the end of the paid period.
What happens to my data if I cancel? Your scoring history, events, and roster are retained per our retention policy. You can export your team’s data to CSV from the dashboard at any time while the plan is active.
Do you offer refunds? Cancelling stops your next charge, and your team keeps access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, so there’s no partial-period charge to refund. Refund handling for the current period is being finalized with the billing rollout. If you were charged in error or have a billing question, contact support@bowlsheet.com and we’ll make it right.
Do you offer athletic-department or volume billing? Yes. For multi-team programs or athletic-department billing, contact support@bowlsheet.com.
Ready to start? BowlSheet is in closed beta right now — get in touch and we’ll get your team set up. The web dashboard arrives alongside the public release. The mobile apps are always free to score with.
